Jesus The Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua. The name for the incarnate Son of God that means “Savior” or “the Lord saves”;

JHS see IHS

joy The ability to see past the pain or hardships of life and to look to the Lord in confident expectation of the everlasting joy that God is preparing for you in heaven .

Jubilate Latin ‘rejoice’. The title of the Third Sunday after Easter, from the first word of the Introit for the Day.

Judica Latin ‘judge’. The title of the Fifth Sunday in Lent, from the first word of the Introit for the Day. Also traditionally called Passion Sunday.
